25th June 2008: The temptation with the new One Cornwall Council logo is to look for negatives but we think they've done a good job, especially as the design was created in-house saving on design agency fees, good news for the taxpayer...

The overall shape of the 'flame' is graphically clean and has energy, the typography certainly adds a contemporary feel, which is needed for a new council.

Rather than the logo living up to One Cornwall's personality, the challenge will be for One Cornwall to deliver the dynamic energy of the design!
